Mosquito Trap Goes "Green"                                                    August 9, 2007
(PRWEB) August 9, 2007 -- www.skeeterbag.com [Skeeterbag]™ trap makers Simonton Farms
Inc. rediscover their product this season with a little help from veterinarian and customer Dr.
Michelle Reller.

With special thanks to Reller, Simonton Farms Inc. reintroduces, Skeeterbag™ as the 2007
"green" alternative to mosquito control. Skeeterbag™ is a simple kit that converts any ordinary
box fan into a mosquito vacuum trap for private and commercial use.

"I felt that Simonton Farms Inc. was missing the boat by not mentioning how (green)
environmentally friendly Skeeterbag™ is. Everybody is looking for green alternatives these
days," Reller said. "As an equine vet I recommend insect control to reduce disease transmission
and stress on the animals. Before I started using Skeeterbag™ on my farm the only options I
could recommend were limited to chemical systems."

So, if there are no chemicals, what does it use for bait? "Female mosquitoes spend most of their
little lives swarming around outdoor pets, livestock, and people gathering blood for breeding.
Every mosquito in range will search around doorways and windows, hang around porches and
lights, and camp out around pets and livestock until they have enough blood to carry on the
breeding cycle. The trick is not to add more bait to the property, but to add traps to the bait that
is already there," said inventor Sidney Louis McCarty.

McCarty was in a panic after trying every www.skeeterbag.com [mosquito product] he could get
his hands on to solve the problem he was having with mosquitoes terrorizing his animals; and he
was determined to solve it the "McCarty Way"-- with as little as possible. What he came up with
was not only as "Green" as you can get without adding solar panels it was also the most
effective trap he had ever seen.

In its first night of operation Skeeterbag™ caught more than 2,300 mosquitoes, half of which
where still alive and noticeably upset at 7 a.m., but dead by 11 a.m. from dehydration. "Out on
the porch for the first time since mosquito season, started I realized that I had stumbled onto
something that could make a real difference for a lot people," McCarty said.

McCarty called in accomplished inventor, Mark Eugene Valentine, to test and develop his idea
for market. After four years of testing, Valentine reports that traps set next to animals confined
to sleeping quarters, traps outside open windows or screen doors and traps set next to lights
consistently netted the most mosquitoes. "Traps next to lights caught a lot of other bugs too, like
moths, love bugs, termites and black flies in addition to the mosquitoes," Valentine said.

"The SBA recommended that we hide www.skeeterbag.com [Skeeterbag]™ in a fancy plastic
shell and charge $500 for it, but we went the other way," Valentine said. "We offer a stripped
down, all green, only what you need solution to what used to be an expensive problem.
Skeeterbag™ has no replacements to buy, nothing to send back for repairs, and nothing to put
in our landfills later. A box fan costs $2.11 per month to run 24/7 and is easy work for a
generator to run.

"Skeeterbag™ is not only green," Valentine said, "it is also the most effective trap on the market
in terms of the number of mosquitoes it catches. When our neighbors began using
Skeeterbag™ on their farm, our mosquito problem got better even faster. We designed and
priced it so that could happen for people all over the country."

All you need to catch mosquitoes 24/7 is a box fan, a catch net, and a dog on the porch.  Allow
me to explain.  Mosquitoes are experts at finding blood.  They see our lights and search our
windows and doors using grid pattern searches driven by our delicious aromas and CO2 leaking
out of the cracks.  I even heard that scientist discovered mosquitoes hear our hearts beating
inside our houses.  They find our outdoor pets and livestock in no time and spend the night
gathering blood, breeding, searching for new blood, and gathering more blood with a solid plan
to do it again tomorrow until their little lives are over and their offspring have sprung to do the
same.  All of this is great news for getting rid of mosquitoes fast, I promise.

You and your animals have already provided an ample supply of mosquito attractant.  Your dog
is like a mosquito bait factory running off Alpo and water, your house makes for a huge bait
factory, and your livestock out in the barn are like a mega bait factory capable of attracting and
sustaining mosquito populations into the millions.  You don’t need expensive, propane-fed, bait
machines.  Mosquitoes will come to you. You just need a way to catch them when they get
there.

A box fan blowing into a Skeeterbag™ mosquito net makes for an industrial sized, low tech.,
mosquito vacuum cleaner trap that behaves just like a black hole in the center of a mosquito’s
universe when placed by animals, lights, open windows, doors and people.   When you have
traps set everywhere mosquitoes want to be they don‘t stand a chance.

Placement is everything and that’s easy too.  The closer you set up your traps to where animals
sleep and eat the faster you will clean up your mosquito problem.  If you open a window in your
bedroom at night and run a trap just outside the screen the fan will blow out CO2 and other
yummy smells and bring mosquitoes in.  When they try to get in the window they get sucked into
the bag instead.  If you set traps against the outside of your horse’s stalls, blowing out,
mosquitoes will get sucked out of the stalls when they fly around your horse’s face and legs.
The same technique applies to any outdoor animal, or you and your kids.  Just place traps by
your feet.

“But, it’s cruel to use animals for bait,” you say.  Too late, they already are.  All there is to do
now is add the final ingredient, Skeeterbag™, and let nature take its‘ course.  In fact, without
adding Skeeterbag™ your outdoor pets are tortured by the little blood thieves that steal blood
to make more mosquitoes and so on.  The beautiful thing is that we figured out a way, for a few
dollars and a fan, that you can give your critter’s a good night sleep and instantly put mosquito
population growth permanently into reverse.  Your critters will actually be the first to benefit,
followed by those who work around them, then you, then your neighbors…etc., etc.  So, come
check out Skeeterbag.com today and take a look at making a difference tomorrow.

Dear Reviewer;

We developed a new product that we think is a good fit for Lowe’s. It is a simple kit that turns a 20” box fan into a
reliable mosquito trap full of surprises. We call the kit, Skeeterbag2.1™. It sells for twenty bucks and customers
need to buy a 20” box fan to make it go. The surprises I mentioned start when customers figure out that
Skeeterbag2.1™ Trap Kits actually work; and surprisingly well at that.

Skeeterbag2.1™ Trap Kits are sold on Skeeterbag.com as, “Personal Mosquito Trap Kits for Outdoor Pets,
Livestock, and People too!” because they only catch mosquitoes when they are set up in mosquito “hot zones”
(around people, animals, and the dwellings of the aforementioned). It is for this reason that Skeeterbag™
products do not require CO2 to be effective. Score one more for the environment!  The fact remains, mosquitoes
are attracted to live pray above all else. Our traps simply wait in ambush in the key spots where female
mosquitoes go to hunt. Surprise!

Customers who have been frustrated with CO2 traps will be extra surprised when they try out Skeeterbag2.1™
for the first time. CO2 trap customers have been trained to believe that one female mosquito in the basket is a
victory. Our first prototypes average 2,300 per night (estimated by weight, one gram » 1,000 mosquitoes) and hit
a record week during Katrina capturing a horrifying 30,000+ per night.

Catch numbers depend on two things: 1) Proximity: The closer the trap kit is set to the “bait” (people, animals,
feeding areas, windows, lights, etc) the better.  2) Mosquito Population Density: An average suburban, single
family home with an outside dog, kenneled on the porch overnight should expect nightly catch numbers to be
from the teens to the high hundreds whereas, on our wetland tree nursery/puppy breeding facility catch
numbers start in the thousands and peak in the tens of thousands depending on the season.

Most of the CO2 traps on the market will attract mosquitoes but, for reasons unknown, use teeny tiny suction
fans that fail to finish the job. Products we surveyed pulled from 46 CFM’s to 933 CFM’s of airflow into the trap. A
propeller diameter 20 inches, 3-speed fan pulls airflows of 2220/1920/1530 CFMs into a 400sq inch trap
surface. On medium, even the largest Asian Tigers are too light to fly away once they get within three feet of the
back of the fan.

Outdoor pets and livestock owners in particular are literally surprised (and often grossed out) when they see the
first night’s catch. The directions call for outdoor pet and livestock owners to set the traps as close to the animal’
s sleeping and/or eating quarters as possible without being in the way--blowing away from the animal.  If Lowe’
s customers have mosquito problems around their outdoor animals they will truly be blown away at how quickly
Skeeterbag 2.1™ can handle the situation.

The directions advise customers who do not have animals to take advantage of the mosquito “hot zones”
around windows, doors, and non-yellow porch lights overnight. Traps set outside an open screen window will
catch nearly as many mosquitoes as traps set by animals, particularly if someone is sleeping in the room.  The
directions also invite customers to set traps by their ankles if the mosquitoes are bad on the porch.

Skeeterbag™ products work with the ecosystem by selectively catching bugs that spend enough time around
people and animals to be considered a threat. Harmless bugs sniff and move on. It is the blood hunting,
potential disease transmitting bugs who sniff and stay around people and animals long enough to get sucked
up by Skeeterbag2.1™.

A Texas based company who builds the product in Asia at their private manufacturing facility manufactures
Skeeterbag2.1™. Skeeterbag2.1™ is a simple product. It took two weeks to punch out 10,000 units, which
suggests that 500,000 units could be produced per year and lead times should be right about six weeks for
orders of 10,000 (container shipped).

We believe that mosquito sufferers would appreciate having an inexpensive, effective, and environmentally
sound mosquito trap alternative available to them at Lowe‘s. Skeeterbag2.1™ packaging is slender and perfect
for displaying on the pillar next to the box fans. We invite you to explore Skeeterbag.com for more information
and decided for yourselves if Skeeterbag2.1™ is right for Lowe’s.
SkeeterbagTM reaches out to major retailers.
We have chosen to approach larger retailers for 2008 focusing on Skeeterbag2.1.  This
is the first of many such letters that will be going out this year.

SkeeterbagTM reaches to the stars.
This month we are approaching talk show hosts for an opportunity to show our findings
on TV.  Wish us luck.  This is the basic note we sent out along with a Skeeterbag2.1TM..
Nobel Peace Prize.  He was trying to find a way to get out of spending a bunch of money to get rid of the
mosquitoes (a desire felt the world over).  What he found can be found anywhere in the world.  He found a 20”
box fan and some mosquito netting. He made a poor man’s mosquito trap and changed the lives of his
puppies (poor nations) overnight.

I was so inspired by my cousin’s (Sidney Louis McCarty IV) genius that I relocated to Florida to develop the
invention into Skeeterbag™, see: SkeeterBag.com.  I tested it for five years and it is uncanny how powerful a
box fan and some netting can be when put in the right place.

A simple, poor man’s trap set next to some chickens, a goat, cow, horse, dog, person, or dwelling of the
aforementioned, overnight will knock out a mosquito infestation faster than anything I have ever seen.  No bait
required (live pray provided by end user), just a little electricity to spin the fan and a net bag.

A mosquito’s natural blood lust only serves to speed up the trapping process and creates it’s own natural, self
de-selection.  Harmless bugs sniff and move on but, bad bugs sniff and stay long enough to get caught.  I
believe Skeeterbag™ to be the most effective, feasible, adaptable, renewable, simple, doable, affordable, right
now sort of solution ever!

A tiny generator, two box fan traps, and a couple of live chickens on a bicycle trailer in the middle of a primitive
village will attract and capture thousands of mosquitoes per hour and dramatically reduce the odds of disease
transition overnight.

I need your help to get the word out.  The better we do at home the more good we can do overseas.  My means
and my marketing skills are maxed-out.  The fact of the matter is that my cousin doesn’t deserve a Nobel
Peace Prize as much as families all over the world deserve to have access to affordable disease protection.  I
guess that is how it works.

Thank you so much.  I hope to hear back from you soon.
